Spring-time projects/ beginnings...

Finally I have ordered a bunch of my comic-book cookbooks, and am beginning to send them out...with the idea of putting something unique on each envelope. To date I've only completed 3, but I am really loving working with pen and ink again...thoroughly enjoyable, and the exercise of stretching my imagination and also trying to let my mind relax, and the images flow. Here they are along with some close-ups:

The red borders are made with a stamp that I carved from an eraser. The stamp ink goes delightfully on top of the black without obscuring or compromising the ink lines.

In this same vein of exercise and experimentation to bring me back into regularly making art, is the watercolor-doodling I've been doing, on a large sheet of really lovely, heavy watercolor paper.
